Starting Fresh

OK,  so I did work out and diet for awhile but I got off track. It's time for a fresh start. My little sister started an HCG diet back in december and lost a lot of weight. She went down 2 dress sizes and looks great. She is shorter than me, so she actually used to look larger than me. I am 5'11 and she is 5'. For a little bit she went up to a 16 at most I think. I haven't been a 16 since 9th grade. I am just frustrated with having to shop in the plus sized department or specialty stores like Avenue, Ashley Stewart, and Lane Bryant. I like fashion, and I want to be able to walk into Kohl's, Sear's, Macy's, New York & Co. et. al and get whatever I want. I don't want to be a pencil just more options.

I started Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It is Day 1 Week 1. I did the whole workout. It was tough! I have bad knees, so when she did the lunges, I was cringing. It's going to be worth it. I know that extra weight on the knees doesn't help. So, all the more motivation!

My measurements as of now are:

arm 15
bust 42
waist 43
thigh 29
hips 51

I haven't weighed myself lately. I will weigh myself tomorrow and post it. I now weigh 274 which is a lot less than when I started but I got a long way to go.

The Beginning

Hello Readers,

My name is Donna. I am 29 years old. I am married with two beautiful boys. I am overweight maybe even obese. I am starting this blog inspired by my little sister to chronicle my weight loss journey. This blog is about a a working mom trying to get her body back. I am tired of wearing plus-size clothing. I want to be able to walk into a store like Express or Bebe or Loft, and find something that fits comfortably!

I am a size 22 pants 2x top. My goal is to be a size 16 by March and either a 12 or 14 by May. It depends because I don't want to be scary skinny. My weight loss number goal is to lose at least 60 lbs.

I weighed my self today and took my measurements. I am 5'10" and weigh 275.

waist: 46
hips: 53
leg: 23
